hi all,

i’ve been really sick lately and my blood sugars have been up and down all over the place. i’m starting to feel better so trying to get my sugars back on track but i constantly feel shaky and dizzy, almost like my sugars are going low but there not. and i feel like this pretty much constantly, whether my sugars are normal levels, or higher levels. is this normal?? i know my body is probably getting used to having stable sugar levels again but even when i’m slightly higher i still feel very very shaky

Can you ring your DN? I was about to suggest false hypos, but they shouldn't be happening at high sugar levels. Or see your GP. Just because we have diabetes it doesn't mean that all illnesses are caused by it. Hopefully as you recover from your illness the shakiness will go too. Virtual hugs your way.
