Shaking in the hands and when waking from sleep

Hi guys,

I am recently diagnosed with T1 and seem to be going through the normal rigmarole of getting a grasp of my symptoms and sugars.

My current biggest concern is that I have tremors in my hands no matter what my blood sugar readings are, when waking from sleep this is applied to my entire body as if I have been out drinking alcohol and energy drinks all night, and had no sleep. What seems to be accompanying it is the feeling like my heart is racing at all times and a strong noticeable pulse through my body.

I am booked in for an ECG at the doctors but am wondering if anyone else can relate or recognise these symptoms?

Many thanks
Ryan

Set your alarm and test your bg levels through the night, especially an hour before your usual waking time, it might be that your going low before waking, testing will say either way.

Hi @RyanJamesAvery Can you tell us what your blood glucose levels are like when this happens ?

Hi there,

Yes when I test they are normally between the 6 - 16 range. It is a noticable difference when I go below 6 as that is into hypo feeling. I'm hoping this might possibly be where I have been between 15 - 25 for months and my body is readjusting to being normal.

Thanks
