Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Sautéed a whole roughly chopped Lidl pointy cabbage very slowly in a little Lidl Olive Oil.
When looking about done, added some Birds Eye frozen peas (from the Co-op).
Then added a large chunk of butter (Waitrose).

Separate frying pan, cooked half a roughly chopped Lidl chorizo in a little oil, then added some roughly chopped cooked ham (Lidl again).
When the fat had begun to flow, poured the whole lot over the cabbage.

Served with ground black pepper.

My serving had double cream poured over it (co-op reduced counter).

Absolute bliss, and not bad on the LCHF scale either.

Nice what you can pull together by just picking stuff from the fridge and freezer.

Just added the source of the ingredients for interest, realising where we do most of our shopping.

Cheers
