I bought these to try from the Japan centre and was impressed enough to order a load more from their online store - 10 pkts are now happily sitting in my fridge
They are virtually calorie, carbohydrate and fat free being made from Konjac which is non digestable
They are pretty tasteless on their own but add a very satisfying bulk to dishes such as stir fry/sukiyaki which would normally have high carb and therefore high cal rice or wheat noodles added. I've also tried them with a bolognaise type sauce which also worker well
£1.85 a pack but well worth it IMO

can you please send a linnk for where they can be bought. no one where I live has heard of them
thank you

I bought zero noodles from Hollads&Barret. Normal price is 1.99 but now its on offer and you pay 2.99 for 2 packets. I was nicely surprised with these noodles. I like the texture (a bit rubbery and hard) and it worked perfectly with thai soup

In answer to earlier questions from other poster -

I don't know how to put up alink form my ipad but if anyone wants to get them just google " the Japan centre online store " and you'll get there.
I eat nori and Kombu seaweeds fairly regularly either in stir fries / soups or if its toasted nori, sprinkled onto salads. I also make up a Japanese seasoning Goshimiso (sp?) which is a mix of dry toasted sesame sees and seasalt which I find quite addictive!. I also sometimes use burdock root ( Gobo in Japanese) which I get when I go into London and visit the store. In terms of Japanese foods, I also use wasabi which is a relative of horseradish with quite a kick and yakitori sauce which is usually served on grilled chicken. although I don't use a lot of t,hat as it has some sugar in it
