I want to purchase wrist bands for diabetics and precise glucose meter and strips to measure my by level. I am from India and recently diagnosed type2 diabetic.
Please help.

You can get wristbands for diabetes at medi-id.com and you can get a glucose meter from a chemists and they do the strips with them on the same part but if you are registered with a doctor surgery and they have a nurse you could see if you can get a glucose meter from there and strips on prescription for yourself but try the chemists first to advise you

You are unlikely to get a BG meter from a doctor in the UK unless you have been prescribed sulphonylureas such as gliclazide tablets as these can cause BG to drop too low and cause 'hypos'.
Others on here will I'm sure suggest 'best buys' and sources for buying one. It's not just the cost of the meter you need to think about - you also have to factor in the the cost of the consumables such as test strips and finger prickers. Some meters are cheap but consumables for them are expensive, so you need to compare.
You say you are 'from India' , are you in India or the UK ?

I think your chemist will help you out. A good reliable one will be your best bet.
Ask around in your area for the most reputative one.
