Good thinking! It certainly works for me. I think of it as the Fitbit principle. My thinking is, if I see those figures regularly it’ll keep me on track and I’ll know what foods are working for me
I was diagnosed with T2 2 years ago, did really well and reversed on a low carb diet - off metformin and really happy. For various reasons (including perhaps a little arrogance) I fell off the wagon and am back on the meds. A couple of weeks ago I had a quick 10 minute review with an agency nurse at the practice who just couldn’t wait to get me out the door! I’m back on my low carb but want some advice. Do you think I should invest in a Blood glucose monitor? And if so, which one. My thinking is, if I see those figures regularly it’ll keep me on track and I’ll know what foods are working for me. What do you think?
Fantastic analogy!!!Not testing is like driving a car without a speedometer and relying on the speeding fines to let you know that you are driving dangerously -
