Side effect cramps

What can I try for rapid insulin leg and feet side effect cramps and pain?
I had to stop the basal but I still use a rapid one for meals.
What can I try for the leg and foot cramps?
The actual name of something?
Another insulin is not an option.

Someone said quinine but I can't find it. Does it have a different name?
 
Oh also some brands of tonic water contain quinine, whether it contains enough to treat cramps I don’t know. Might be worth a try, but make sure to get a sugar free one of course.

I tried all sorts, but creeping to the bathroom and drinking a pint or more of water has always worked since I realised it was what was needed.
