Bigotry, reliance on unsupported 'facts', unkindness, unfairness.
I’m on the list for a Medtronic 780g with simplera sync, just waiting for the rep intro and training.
I’m in the U.K.
It’s not too late to change my mind, and seeing the number of posts here about the problems regarding supply of the simplera sync, plus getting a whiff of production problems with simplera sync, I’m poised to write and say I’d like the Tandem t-slim x2
Would I be daft to do that?
How many of you have simplera sync supply problems?
Big questions. I know it has to be my choice, so I don’t expect you to tell me what to do, just share your experiences. Please!!!!

I know @searley is on the simplera not sure if he’s having issues getting hold of them, obviously everyone else who I know to tag has already posted about issues with supply

May be worth finding out if they'd start you off on the 780g with the G4 sensors instead - I know I'm somewhere on the list to get my 780g upgraded to use the 'Simplera Syncs' (am currently using the G4's) - but that's now on hold til the supply issues are sorted (no ETA)

I heard that they’ve limited supply to pedriatrics and new users (?)

How do you find the Gs @Rokaab? I’ve seen very mixed views of them.
One thing that attracts me to choosing the t-slim is dexcom sensors

My order of supplies was sent last week without the sensors they are on back order… however 4 months worth were supplied with the pump originally, and I requested top up after using 2 months worth, so I still have 3 months worth left..

I wouldn’t decline what u think is the best pump based on current shortage.. it happens and if you plan like me you will have extras

There has been times in the past where Dexcom has been unable to supply sensors/transmitters and even shortages if libre at times

So I think no matter the system you go with there is potential for issues

I’ll try to follow your example - there are pros and cons for both pumps.

In my opinion the 780 is far superior to the tandem

Had constant overnight highs with tandem had an hba1c of 60

First hba1c only 6 weeks after starting the 780 I had a TIR if 90% with and hba1c of 50
