Sitagliptin and RH

I think I am holding fire on the Metformin until I get my next results at the end of October and then take action if my hba1c is still raised.

No worries mate, I still believe that metformin will upset your digestive process even if it is either slow release or enteric.
Best wishes.

Just found out they do not measure LDL in the UK, it is too expensive, so they calculate it from the simplistic Friedwald formula. For high Trigs and low Trigs it is inaccurate.
According to the Iranian more accurate formula my LDL is not out of limits at 4.5 because my Trigs are 0.8.

Hello Lamont,
Have you still using this medicine?
I have read many articles about this drug. I also have low first-phase insulin secretion. Now i am currently using acarbose,
i think sitagliptin will work for me.

Hi, yes I am, as a preventative measure in case I eat something that trigger a a reaction.
Acerbose, as other posters have said did not work for them. The treatment doesn't control the effects of food intolerance. It is to help slow down carbs, but doesn't stop the spike, or the symptoms.
There is a good chance it will work as long as you don't get the side effects.

Best wishes
