Pump
Hi all, I just recently got on the medtronic 630g system. I have had a hard time sleeping with the pump falling out of my pocket and causing the tubes to pull on insertion point every time I turn over. Any of have tricks to keep it in one spot and get a good night sleep?

Simply use a bit of tape across the tubing it can't pull on the cannula then. I just clip my pump on the front of my pj's and that's where it stays all night.

My combo pump was always on arm..
i am chronic at night and couldnt wear your pump onnmy arm or leg due to constant movement etc but they do leg bands to put pump in... could possibly help you. I wasnt willing to wear pj's etc when I had always sleptbare and also disliked flyffing around with anything bothersome when I have really dire colon/bowel probs...
There are waistbands that can hold pump if necessary and you dont mind wearing one...

A sock with a tight ankle cuff is ideal to put a pump in........just make hole in the toe part of the sock and thread a piece of chord, lanyard, elastic or even a spare pump tube through the hole and create a lanyard to go over the neck. Put pump in the sock through the tight ankle cuff and there it will stay. Going to bed will be no problem and the tube shouldn't pull away from the set because of the sock lanyard. A cheap fabric drawstring sunglass bag can also be used with a lanyard as well and this idea works really well with short tubes and longer ones. Nothing should be complicated with a bit a thought and pumps can be disconnected from the set for 2hrs if need be to allow for intimate times without any real problem. I tend to get up in the night to use the loo so never worry about the pump because it's hanging around my neck and goes wherever I go.
