Hi and a very good evening to you all. I have just commenced a keep fit exercise regime to try and lose some weight.
At present 12st 8lbs, Medicos reckon my target weight should be 11st 8lbs?
In the last six weeks I have started keep fit on Mondays, Thi Chi on Tuesdays and Gold Zumba on Wednesday followed with joining a walking group on Thursday.
As you can imagine I am feeling loads better but tired.
Weight has increased by a few pounds.
I will be going to my first session with slimming world tomorrow (Thursday).

Should I inform the Doctor.

BMI is bordering on top side of over weight.
Cheers
Richard

There is no problem doing the exercise if you can do it and you will see the results eventually.
However, if you are still eating too many carbs as a diabetic, that weight will be harder to lose.

Many posters, who are elderly and diabetic, low carb and only have to do moderate exercise (half an hour good walking) and they will lose weight.

Sustained strenuous exercise often raises blood glucose levels, and walking lowers your levels, don't know why, but it does. Don't Stop the exercise!

You will have to read up on the best way for you to lose weight and get your blood glucose levels down.

Hope this helps.
