I wouldn't worry about following any named diet that will cost you money buying branded products unless you feel you need the discipline. All most of us do is follow a reduced carb diet where we buy lower GI carbs where we can and keep the carbs down as these are converted to glucose in the body. There is lots of info on this website giving examples of the better carbs. BTW don't worry too much about fats. Some diets focus on these but for diabetics it's the carbs that are the thing to watch. Perhaps someone who follows Slimming World can give their views?
