Hi
I was wonder if anyone could recommend a good slipper? I have had many issues with my feet over the last 8 months and was told today to try wearing a good slipper but after researching many slippers I am still not sure on the best ones

For what use? At home, swimming pool, beach? And what kind of foot problems do you have for which you were advised to use slippers?
I don't use slippers, but this information might help others to respond to your question.

Far too vague without the reasons to furnish a response

Hi @Charlie229c ,

Welcome to the forum.
Like any "Cinderella story," it's best to try them on... :)

Is this home use footwear, or general comfort for out & about..?

Hi Charlie, I expect they are suggesting a good quality, deep and roomy pair that are put on fully rather than slip ons like mules. Cosyfeet online do a good range but you do really need to try them on. Try and find an old fashioned shoe shop, they are around, or ask a Clark's to order you in a few pairs in your size to try on. There is no charge for this and nothing to pay up front.

Hi Charlie, welcome to the forum. I'm not a fan of slippers myself but like Fruitella I would suggest Cosyfeet. I have used them for other footwear and they're very good.

A cautionary tale: many moons ago before retirement I recall being called to see a patient in the hospital.
Nursing staff were most worried about his blue feet as blueness in an extremity was often a sign of poor circulation and on his admission his feet had not been blue.
Some 'detective work ' later - his feet appeared to have perfect circulation despite the colour. The colour had a distinct border and I spied some blue coloured slippers on the floor, Once these were placed on his feet, the border of the blue colour matched the edges of the slippers.
It turned out that he had purchased a new pair of slippers for his hospital admission and had only been wearing them for a short while in the warm sun room at the end of the ward. Warmth --> sweating --> running of the slipper dye onto the feet.
Lesson: avoid wearing blue slippers !!

I do hope that we haven't frightened you off with our somewhat direct request that you qualify your question.

It's not that we're difficult ********. More to do with trying to provide answers that are specifically relevant to you.

Please hang around... you will find it very helpful.
