Smoothies

Looks more like a disaster for blood glucose levels - I suggest that you make one and then drink a very small measured amount using your meter to see how high it takes you - I'd have been in the 20s drinking that high a carb count concoction.
It's only 30g of carbs not even that. If insulin ratio and bolus is correctly done it shouldn't take you high
 
I have a breakfast smoothie (probably more of a shake) most days — whey protein powder (unsweetened), almond milk and almond butter. Doesn’t spike me at all and if you add baby spinach, you can’t taste it (although check if blending it spikes you). I wouldn’t have oats or banana as they’d send my bg too high.
