So what's the truth about Cholesterol

    Well lets give everyone something to think about...

    2 cups of Earl Grey tea has the same effect as a statin, so do you drink tea? I drink Earl Grey and I take simvistatin, however my cholesterol levels are as follows:-

    LDL 1.9

    HDL 1.8

    total Negligable normally but 3.2 at present..

    I'm T2 injecting Insulatard MR 26units am & 34 units pm..

    Bs levels of between 8.2 & 16.8 ( hosp ok with my levels as they will never go below 8.2)

    Yup, green tea is vile too!

    Not really a surprise to discover that I dislike what is good for me. Lol

    Some green tea is awful, the brand Clipper is one of them. I get my green tea from Holland & Barrett, it's a brand called Double Dragon and it is really delicious and refreshing, not cheap at £1.93p for 20 but well worth it in my opinion :)
