Type 1 Son moving to UK from Australia for a Gap Year ....

My 18yo son is moving to UK for a GAP year in Jan 2018 - he is wearing a Medtronic 640G pump. Just wondering if he can get his supplies of infusion sets and insulin through NHS if he did not get his pump through them?
He is from Australia and has paid a Immigration Health Surcharge as part of his Visa so he can use the NHS
