Wondering if anyone is affected by sore legs? I've had it for bout 3 weeks now. Doc thinks it muscular but I worry it part of my diabetes. I take insulin 4 x daily and doc gave me co codamol and anti inflamitory tablets. Not sore when I wake up but once on the move starts up. Aching and sore to touch. Like burning feeling. Any advice? Thanks

Are you taking a daily statin??

Teddybear - I would like to know also cos I have the same condition permanently but mainly in bed at night. I do have kidney damage and now have to control oedema with Lasix - mine may be due to statins (10mg nightly) or my legs reacting to the excess fluid being drained/contained. Thanking you in anticipation....Rob

I do take statins but legs nit related to that as I not taken em for a while. I'm ok when eventually asleep. When I wake I'm fine till bout hour later then pain. Achy and uncomfortable. Keep thinking it's something do with diabetes and not just muscular. Look on interernet and just can't find out any answers .

If the Co-codamol and Anti Inflammatories aren't working go back and tell your gp, it could/could not be diabetes related and only your doctor could possibly say.
