We can't diagnose, so just throwing some ideas out there. If you're still urinating a lot, (it's still early in your diagnosis, right?) you could be a little dehydrated? Chap stick or something based on coconut-oil would probably help. Unless it's oral thrush of course. I tend to get a very dry mouth and sore, cracked lips in the mornings usually. I'm T2 and take Metformin and Gliclazide. I also take Ramipril for high BP. All 3 of these meds, when reading the associated paperwork on the leaflets that are distributed with them, say about causing dehydration, so that could very well be why you are experiencing what you are.
