It sounds very much like the Cambridge diet that was all the rage in the 80s - I remember spending a fortune on a 6 week course and trying to force it down and crying to my hubby because I felt so guilty spending money we really didn’t have at the time - made all the more difficult because I don’t like milk or milkshakes (what was I thinking)Day 1, meal 2 of 4 - a sachet of spicy carrot soup, well I say soup, but it is more like a coffee-mate like powder with a savoury carroty flavour. Like a posh cup-a-soup.
So far, I'm hungry, but that is to be expected.
I officially start this next Monday, after a couple of months of waiting and then some supply issues that are now sorted out - I understand a few companies are used depending on where you are in the country. For me it's being run by Momenta and the Soups, Shakes & Porridge is supplied by Habitual.
When I did it, back in 89 through the hospital, i tried to plan lots of things to do each evening like going to the theatre, swimming, cinema, going round supportive friends, and long relaxing baths. I think you're doing really well. Shame the soups haven't improved much since the Cambridge diet ones. Best of luckXYLA are running the show for me, the powders are by Habitual, like you.
Day 1 - Interim update - Hungry like the Wolf. And also is what is the hungrier state; Hank Marvin, Lee Marvin or the Wolf?
