We will now be checking the forum daily for spam, and with new moderators will hopefully be more on top of it. If there is spam within a thread that we have missed, please alert us to it here.

Hi Admin,

Not a spam problem but a site problem. Posts are no longer showing in descending order of time/date posted, even when you try to re-sort them. Is this a technical problem?
 
Do you mean the three 'sticky' posts at the top of the forum Dennis? if so, they are here to stay until we find some moderators and eliminate the spam, then they'll go back into normal order. Most forums have sticky threads at the head of the page. Or is there a more serious problem I am missing?
 
No, the problem is me! I didn't realise that stickys always remain on top of the list, but very logical when you consider their name!

You guys are doing a great job. Thanks. It makes the forum much more enjoyable now.

Can I make a suggestion - that as well as spam - companies pushing thier websites and/or products are sensored. I would prefer to read recommendations from forum members who have tried a product first or heard of it at least.

Just a thought.
