Spikers picture

I was originally going to use this

king.png

but I thought it might be a bit scary for those not recognising it!

I change mine when I get bored with it anyway.

Agreed, Father Ted is ace! Bonus points to anyone who knows where my avatar is from and who's in it :D

is Jaime Lannister or whatever he is called? I tried watching but gave up.

Oh god not prog ;-) I was more a rock fan myself, but liked a bit of King Crimson and Van Der Graaf.Mr E was the prog fan, as his collection of The Enid vinyls shows.

Very few prog acts have stood the test of time IMO - Crimson and VDGG are amongst them so good call Cold Ethyl!

My avatar is a photo of a painting one of my 5 year old pupils did. It's a cat from the story of the enormous turnip. I love children's paintings and this was so cute!

I thought he was the mercenary in Game of Thrones? Only seen the tv series to 3rd series. Couldn't stand the books.

And I'm an Alan Parsons fan. :smug:

Ahh of course - was a prog rock man myself - ELP, Early Genesis Yes etc I was thinking Gentle Giant when I first saw it, so not far off :)
more Moody Blues myself.

Don't mind Genesis, but I always found Pink Floyd rather tedious.

Many original lines ups better than the later versions, Fleetwood Mac as a great example.

I'm trying to work out your avatar. ? I can't see the detail. What is it? Thanks :)

It's just a random Mark Rothko painting that appealed to me!
