Has anyone else had problems with the Spirit Healthcare website? I have ordered before without difficulty but this time the website navigation doesn't seem to work properly and although I have the box ticked as diabetic, it is still trying to charge me VAT. When I emailed them they said it all seemed to be ok and they are using the Chrome browser the same as I do.

Hiya I do and had this problem re VAT despite ordering VAT exempt for years. I rang up and they said they would send me a vat exemption form via email which I completed and returned to them - now back to normal don’t know if this is case for you but may be? They have to have form on file they say and then they changed on my account so VAT not added ie back to the way it was - no idea why it changed!

I had a different problem. Using search it wouldn't show any caresens products, so I phoned them and ended up having to use different words. "ketone" worked and showed both the meter and the strips, so they were there just not displaying for some reason. I had this last time (Septemebr ) as well.
The delivery was fast, ordered yesterday, arrived today

I had a problem when I was using my iPad recently, I phoned them and they said as with @Mr_Pot that all was OK their end. I rang off, scratched my head and then thought it maybe to do with using a bookmarked page to their website. I Googled Spirit Health and started afresh and it did the trick :)

I haven't had any .. ordered some strips online on 19th Jan they arrived via the postie this morning.

I set up an account and my no vat registration is noted there.

Unlike a second class birthday card from London that took 8 days to arrive!

Thanks for your reply, I will give them a call and try to fix it. It's very confusing that the diabetic box remains ticked when it is not still active.

I thought you were a convert to the Gluco Navii?

No my friend Tee2 through and through.
I found the Navii read mostly higher than my Tee2 and the Tee2 aligned better with my HbA1c results.

I am going to go back to my TEE2+ when I sort out the VAT issue. I have been using a Navii but the latest batch of strips gives alarmingly high readings. I don't use many strips now so I haven't got a stock of different batch empty tubs to compare. However the current tub of Navii strips is printed with a range for the control solution more than 1mmol/L above the previous tub. So this means that with the same drop of blood, if both batches of strips are in the middle of their range, they would read 1mm/L different before any errors.
