You keep raising the bar!
But yes, amazing what the combination of encouragement, inspiration and a bit of competition can do!
....still pounding the beat in the lunch hour, 50 minutes today, does that mean I only need to do 30 tomorrow.........now mostly have my lunch at my desk while working as don't have time to fit it in!
...thinking of getting a bike in July, just thinking not definite yet, don't think I'd have the confidence to go out on the road but there's a lot of flat spaces around here..
10 minutes brisk walk this morning and I've just completed another 30 minutes.
I turned on the TV when I came in :
Ch4 The World's Best Diet
Began at 9 but the presenter was talking to a French doctor and asking why, with such a high saturated fat content in their diet, is heart disease low in France. During the discussion the doctor explained that about 30 years ago people wanted less fat and added more carbs. He said a lot of carbs resulted in diabetes.

Great stuff!!!Hoping to get out tonight. Diabetes is weird. Bs back to 6.6 in morning! Yay! Back into normal range. On Friday I weighed 13.6 Sunday I weighed 13.5 today I weighed 13.4! Yay!!!!!!!!!
It's the way they do things in France. Also said it's their approach to food. They don't see meal times as grab and go. They take a full hour, up to two, to eat a good lunch with correct portion sizes.

Thanks Bebo! It's supposedly (this is Africa) about 2 hours drive north of Abidjan. Should have internet so I might try and post a diary of sorts, maybe even with pictures (food, people, surroundings etc). I always find going to Africa puts a lot of things in perspective. Should be fun (but hard work)!
Meanwhile today I've done a total of 30-40 minutes walking in 10 minute bits, and 20 minutes on the rower in three stints an hour after eating - this seems to be good at using up the glucose from the food without the liver having to assist.
Lol!Very close - a bit NW of there just south of Kossou Lake (Angovia).
Oui je peux parler un peu de Francais, mais j'ai oublie beaucoup! Et l'accent Africain est different! S'il y a problemes, je peux dire "Drogba, Yaya, fantastique!".
