I love straight talking people @cold ethyl tell it like it is!! Quite like them myself, like most music except reggae and garage and heavy classical and most jazz and........

Whole of lunch hour spent walking, mostly eat when I get back to work now yay!!
I enjoy all music. I just remove my hearing aids for some.

Ohhhh I love new order ..how does it feel .....

Oh Pipp I could nt swim today , got stuck in work and by the time I got away there were swimming lessons on:(. Taking my swim suit to Edinburgh with me though and having a lesson on Monday.
Just been on bike and cross trainer xx Sorry xx
So, I am ahead then? I like this new challenge @Jamrox.

Now that's a statement that is going to get my attention! Just out of curiosity what jazz do you like?

....just late night jazz @sanguine, no particular artists....

...have a music thread elsewhere, someone put this on the other week, made me laugh, starts about 30 secs in..

@cold ethyl I don't like the Smiths either.
Another coincidence. .I did my nurse training in Hexham General 1984- 86 . The old hospital.

Did 23 minutes on bike after dinner. Seemed to work off any possible after effects of the Makeway curry sauce as 5.6 after 2hrs.

I Have an eclectic taste in music. Will listen it most things but Morrissey's voice drives me mad.

Yay, after 6 months since the February storms the sea wall is open to pedestrians again :). It's been nice finding new walks to do in the meantime, but it's also good to return to an old friend. It's a good 50 minute walk if I go to the far end and back, shorter walks are available.

Sanguine made me quite homesick looking at your pics believe it or not you can get fed up of sunshine !!!. I have had a busy day today walking round shopping centre for 20 mins and then this afternoon went to collect a friends daughter from her theory driving test and could not park nearby so another good walk. Been up and down stairs a few times as well so today I think I have done enough !

A busy day. Early appointment with Health trainer, from GP referral.
I went with an open mind, and returned with my eyes opened.

Then to pool, 50 mins fast swimming and water exercises. Followed by a 40 minute supermarket dash. All before lunch.

A 10 minute walk this afternoon, then five mins trying some physio exercise using 1kg hand weights.

Probably going to finish the day with a 15 min session of Pilates exercises.

All this music, just reminded me, I got to see probably my top three, The Beach Boys, Meatloaf, and Blondie, live, in the last couple of years.
As good as they ever were!

Goodness Pipp well done I feel worn out reading it !
Thanks connie
I am on a bit of a roll at the moment. Making up for lost time, and banking some, because I sometimes can't get to the pool.

You are coming on well too. Must be a relief to have the surgery done.

How about, Vera Lynn, Nat King Cole, or Gracie Fields?

Ooops, disregard that, been spending too much time visiting elderly in care home.

Yes I feel good but then my hip starts to ache and I know it's time to rest. Stitches out next Wednesday so will ask if I can get in the pool even if it's just to walk about .

Yes that sounds like a plan.
Now make me envious. Is it an outdoor pool in lots of sunshine?

Yes it is and you will be horrified to hear we rarely use it as I have an aluminum ladder to enter it and was worried when my leg was bad i wouldn't get out !! Still no excuse now after next week .

Aww, connie. I would have had to have found a way of sorting the steps in. Or would have gone in and stayed in.
