Are they low-carb lamps, though? Not me doing a hopeful google search to see if SRSLY exists in the Netherlands.
It does. And it's a company selling lamps.
New offering from SRSLY.
Took delivery of these today, not cheap and I wasn’t too hopeful of what they’d be like, but the chance of a croissant was too much to pass up.
Have to say I’m delighted with them.
Smaller than a usual croissant but very filling.
I’m not sure how they’ve managed it, but the texture is spot on.
Buttery, very tasty, I’d say near as dammit to a real croissant as you’re likely to get for a low carb offering.
g carb per croissant. Highly recommend.
They have produced a bagel as well - it's on order. I've beena bit annoyed at the delivery system around Christmas - I ordered for delivery week before, order was processed, and then not delivered until first week in January. Box crushed on delivery, not the first time. Entire bag of rolls lost to mould.
I still like the products but the order and delivery system is convoluted and more than a bit hit and miss.
Bagels due next Monday. Not getting hopes up but getting hopes up.Please update on Bagels when they arrive.
Agree with delivery system, although this time was fast and efficient.
We had the most wonderful holiday in western Canada, however I found low carbing very difficult. We didn't eat in any fast food restaurants but it was extremely difficult. We did lots of hiking and I bought bags of nuts to keep myself going. The UK is amazing for low carb and gluten free. Whenever I’m in the UK I’m blown away by the food options. They even do gluten free croissants, satisfying the French in me. Canada lacks greatly in this area.
I really need to unfollow this thread or come back to the UK much sooner than planned and bribe some people into ordering for me so I can set up a croissant smuggling scheme to the Netherlands.Well I got myself some croissants & bagels just to try. The bagels are quite nice, very light and had one for lunch toasted with cream cheese & smoked salmon, but the croissants are a triumph! Just a couple of bites per croissant but they taste just like a real croissant and the lamination is very impressive and me & hubby (both trained chefs & fairly competent bakers for a little time) can’t work out how they’ve managed it.
They are tiny hubby ate his in one bite ( he won’t be getting any more!) I would definitely buy them again and probably the bagels too, though the seeds on the bagel are a bit annoying as they fall of everywhere.
Both good for a change
Do they freeze?
I'm off to google ferry tickets and a larger freezer...They do.
Sorry to add to your pain
