Stability in diabetic conditions

I love Hovis Wholemeal Seed Sensations. 14g carbs per large slice, loaded with 7 different seeds and packed full of fibre. Readily available in supermarkets. Excellent for toast and untoasted with butter.

The seeded bread has also weaned me off the idea that bacon butties can only be made with white bread!

I can see that the discussion is moving towards types of breads . I initiated the thread to share the experience of members on stability ,lasting effect of blood sugar levels . My main concern is if I am able to stay within good control say for three months, how stable is the condition ( organs are tuned to stay with controlled conditions) . Whether irregularities of a couple of days are good enough to imbalance the state of good control or not?

I think the simple answer is that the diabetic diet lifestyle is for life. If you srat increading the carbs you eat your blood sugar will go up within a few hours and if you continue it will stay up and so will your HBa1C. If you have enough carbs to put on weight then the insulin resistance will mess up your stability and it could take weeks to get it back down again?
