Staggered and saddened by this information!

I'm sure this wasn't meant to sound patronising, but there is the implication that I (and other like minded individuals) haven't already been doing this.

The issue is raised constantly by the volunteers and there now seems to be at least acceptance (if not enthusiastic support) that LCHF is a valid way to manage your diet.

The juggernaut does take a long time to turn.

Memo to self: check who the current main sponsors are, and how they align with "healthy carbohydrates".
Not at all!
I respect you too much!

I'm going to interject with another interesting thought.

It's a what if.

What if the million or so diabetic patients in this country abided by the NEW NHS (if it happened) guidance avoiding wheat, grains, starchy carbs and rice?
Could you imagine the outcome?
The pharmaceutical companies would be in an uproar!

The "food" manufacturers would increase their production, ranges and profits tenfold.and be laughing all the way to the bank

I don't think the anti meat brigade would like it much either

I have eaten more than 1 avocado in one sitting especially post work out day, I seem to be ravenous in the morning and cannot cope with just the one avocado let alone 2 slices :nailbiting:
Hate advocado so I’ll have 2 eggs instead on a piece of low (ish) carb toast

I'll have any avocados that others don't like or want. I love 'em!
Erm, no! Queue forming and I am first in line. We had two huge avo trees in our garden and I used to pay my children slave wages of 50p for every black bin bag of fallen yucky ones they collected. I am frequently reminded about this extortion :)
