Hi everyone, for the last week I have been experiencing starbursts during the night. So on traffic lights, bus lights, I haven't controlled by blood sugar for the past 3 months and have had blurred vision cause of it. And now I have these starbursts during the night. I started to improve my blood sugar, would these Starbursts vision go away once I start to control my diet?

Sorry I thought you were talking about the sweets formally known as Opal Fruits!
Sounds as if you need to get your retinas checked by an optician/opthamologist as these symptoms could be down to bleeding of the little blood vessels in the back of your eyes caused by blood sugars being too high.
A high street optician should be able to check the back of your eyes. My advice would be not to delay on this or on getting your bgs lower (speaking as someone who has lost some vision due to ropey bgs).

Agree with Nicole, see a doctor/eye specialist with it. Better safe then sorry if something's wrong.

Also get your blood pressure checked. I had these symptoms when my BP was dangerously high.

Good luck @Davejones10 I hope you find out what it is, also a possible diagnosis and go from there.
Take care
