Afternoon all

I'm Steve and although I'm not new to low carb eating, I haven't done it for quite a while - maybe 14 years or so...

Well, now I've managed to work my way to an embarrassing weight and I've decided to do something about it finally. I've tried other dieting, but low carb was the only one that ever worked for me, so I am preparing to start again.

I know I will be fine throughout the day, but I am worried and anxious about food choices for a late night snack.
Ideally I'd avoid having one, but I need to have a little something...

Please could I ask you all for any advice or recommendations for low carb bedtime snacks?
(Wow I spelled "recommendations" right first time!)

Thanks
Steve

A slice of cheese with some olives.
Pepperoni
Pork scratchings

A couple of good quality low carb sausages, or a chicken leg or two with a little bit of salt. x

Ham is good. Can have with a bit of cheese
I have Greek yoghurt with strawberries, might be a little high carb for you though, depends on your aims

Ah - right - now I am wondering if you want a snack to increase your BG levels to prevent going low overnight, or 'just' something to eat.

Mainly something to maintain BG
Sometimes get peckish at night, but most often have to make myself have something...which inevitably ends up being a bad choice like a bag of crisps or something.

Some of the suggestions sound ok - I could nibble a bit of cheese for sure :)
