statins

hi I was diagnosed in June with type 2 diabetes and was put onto atorvastatin for my cholesterol I have just had my 3 month review today and while I was there I asked how long to I have to take the tablets and was told they are for life If this is the case can I get help with paying for them as these are the only tablets I am on at the moment as I am just treating the diabetes with diet control

Had you fasted before the blood was taken? If so how long for?
Your trigs look a bit high.. what kind of diet were you eating when this was taken?

Yes I fasted didn't eat anything since tea time the day before. I am just doing low carb

Had you fasted before the blood was taken? If so how long for?

I'm guessing you hadn't been eating low carb for long before those cholesterol numbers were measured?
