ive been reding the posts about statins and one said there was a thread to read but cant find it..am interested as ive been put on symvastin..ever since ive taken them i have ache in shoulders and had to take painkillers .so ive stopped taking them..well thurs had a call to say my op was scheduled for sat 7th t day after my birthday and thankyou for the birthday email from the site..anyway on fri morn i got a call to say it was cancelled as the pre op nurses didnt put on my notes that i was diabetic..and apparently the surgeon didnt want to do two diabetics in one day god knows why..and i didnt bother asking .i did get a confirmation letter on sat tho to say i was having hip done on the 6th april,,flipping eck..what a to do..oh and i got taking out for lunch on sunday roest lamb with all the trimmings and giant profiteroles with fresh cream..i atre the lot..and weirdly two hours later i did my blood and it was 7.6 i thght it would much higher than that..
