Stem Cell Therapy for T2 diabetes

I am thinking of going for Stem Cell Therapy as I want to get rid of Insulin and tablets. Has any one taken this treatment? If, yes, what is your advise?

Not something I have heard of and my googling is failing me as to whether this is a current viable treatment for T2s (or T1s, I've been promised a cure in the next ten years for the last half century :)) but I'll tag in @Oldvatr who is awesome at locating scientific papers and may care to express a more informed opinion.

Have you tried dietary control?
Not sure that stem cells could even start to help T2?
