Step into Spring

Or do you mean Devon? You might be near me then.

I always thought Devon was Heaven lol all those cream teas... but that was obviously in another life :

Yeah, all that's left is the clotted cream ... (always the best bit though).

I made an early start today. 25 mins fast swimming, then 8 minutes fast treading water. The pool was crowded with new year resolution folks. Hope they keep going even though it was difficult to dodge round them. We need to keep the pool open so more the merrier.

Just back from a short walk to chuck toys for the dog. He didn't want to fetch, so I ended up retrieving them. Think he was just trying to make sure I kept moving.

Today will just be about 20 minutes walking as it's pub quiz night.

I took my dog out for a 45 minute brisk walk up a hill in the park and then went for a relaxing swim for 30 minutes after my dog tired me out. I cancelled my order for the blender as my parents are willing to pay 75% towards a nutribullet for me.

I'm not skiving this time. I've been ill since 2nd January. I remember now why I don't usually exercise much at this time of year.....I'm often ill. I'll be back when I'm better.

Oh dear @zand I hope you are feeling better soon. My exercise is never normal lol I had my grandson for 4 hours today. We walked and played and he frequently wanted to be picked up to look at things. Then 45 mins rapid walking around he shops. It will be ladders and painting again tomorrow.

Get well soon @zand

I've just exercised today by carrying piles of books up the stairs and into the car.

Well I did a 30 minute walk at lunchtime and a 30 minute walk when I got home from work....

Dog walking, cross trainer day 4 and cleaning the kitchen for me today

Even Marisotta are stepping into Spring lol

Hello. 4 hours painting today. I think those ladders are growing lol I only stopped as I ran out of paint

I building up slowly on the exercise bike. Started off at only managing a couple of mins. The first night I had it I climbed into bed and felt like my bum was bruised!!! Now I'm managing 10 mins and the bum seems to be getting used to it. Just need to get my fitness level up to where I can manage more than 10 mins without feeling like I'm gonna die.........

You will.

Edit, oh no I meant you will IMPROVE.

Not a response to your ref to felling like you are gonna die.....

Sorry.

Maybe I need to build up to, but it was lovely to be back at the pool after a long break. So after having a couple of gentle swims over the last few weeks I launched into full aqua Pipp mode. 15 mins swimming followed by a 50 mins aquafit class. Feel good now. Will have to wait to see how I feel in the morning but there is another aquafit class at a different pool.
