Step up for Santa

Cleaned and ran up down stairs 6 times I'm now of for coffee with friends to undo it all... I'll be good
 
So far a total of 20 minutes walk . Will do more later .
 
40 minutes swimming
forgot my goggles, so the exercise included how to cope without them. Learnt a whole new technique, could catch on: eyes shut swimming.
 
2 hours country dancing at a party, with a caller and a great band. Completely bad dancing, but funny and energetic. Good and healthy food at half-time.
 
Chickened out on abs crunches as too full after dinner so did 20 minutes on bike so with my walk I think I'm covered for today.
 
I did the other 20 or so on old numb bum , part of it in the dark because the garage light went out ... Scary ,glad it was bonfire night and not hallowe'en lol
 
35 minutes on numb bum , glad it's over , Now for mince and veg ( couple of small potatoes too sshhhhh)
 
letting dinner settle then deciding of I can face today as a full day or maybe just do 15 minutes or some arm weights and try the abs cruncher. Mr ethyl tried it and said it hurts!
 
City walk for me this morning .....just window shopping ...

This afternoon picking up leaves ...I hate leaves because they all fall in our garden ....but it was a good work out for one hour ...
Mr tom ( kat ) rakes the leaves ....:cat::cat::cat:

Leaves are slow to fall this year ..lots still on trees ....
 
So I dragged myself from the table to bike ( via trying on two frocks hanging in wardrobe both same size - one I will never fit into and the other I might manage in a few weeks if I keep peddling) and did 30 minutes.
 
I did 20mins country dancing on the wii. Was gonna do some boxing but the batteries ran out on the board. Its on charge so i can use it at the weekend. Fridays i dont get home till 9.30pm, so that'll be a rest day unless i go for a walk on my lunch break.
 
Kat100 might be a stupid question but does your hubby go on one of the cruise critic forums?
 
Just got want to say thanks to everyone for doing this with me. It's the only way to stop me hibernating and being a coach potato. Doing these challenges has helped me loose 2stone and maintain it . I don't think I ll loose any more up to Christmas because it's hard in the winter but if I can maintain then I can loose some more come the spring.

More to the point though it is helping to keep my BS under control and I feel good xx

Thank you for starting these things off. I was a lifelong exercise shirker but now enjoy my peddling once I get to it. This thread keeps me doing it as I feel I'm letting the team down if I bunk off. My legs are looking way better, I can have a nice half an apple now and then as my BG levels are good and I've gone from a size 20plus to a 14/16 since May.
 
Theres something wrong with me today............I got up BEFORE my alarm even went off!!!!!!!:eek: And I've been really perky all morning. Went for a brisk lunchtime walk......actually wanted to didn't have to make myself..............

I may have caught the exercise bug........I'm even looking for an exercise bike.......:p
 
So 30 minutes on my bike. Certainly noticing I can go further in same time. Day off tomorrow as guests and they are in the room with the bike abd probably wouldn't appreciate my sweaty cursing in the middle of night.
 
Cold ethyl that's great . I am the same as you and I really enjoy half a banana which I couldn't eat before cx
 
Lenny my numb bum machine aka exercise bike has been a god send. I bought a second hand one and have used it loads.
 
It was my work mates leaving do tonight so it was a day off (2). Tomorrow will be a lot of walking .
