I weighed myself this morning instead of tomorrow as we are away for the week end. I am still on the same weight, this is week 4 now:(

Don't beat yourself up over one weeks readings, there's always next week to try again.

And at least in four weeks you haven't gained any :) That is an achievement to be proud of.
Don't let it spoil your week end, and I hope you have a great time :)

thank you! We had a great week end away :) now I just have to get off this plateau!

Have you considered changing something? Either eating more for a week, or even less? Just anything that will nudge your metabolism to take notice of what's going on.

And up the fluids. Always up the water intake.

I hadn't realised it had been that long till I looked back but now I am back I am going to look more at what I am eating and change things if need be. I am guilty of not drinking enough water so have been trying to increase my intake - will be looking more at this too. I have made some nut balls to see if increasing my fat makes a difference. I don't think I eat too much, too little if anything. I will have to master my fitness pal

Good luck with fitness pal! I'm at the point of giving up with it :banghead:

Without knowing it, I ate too little. I went on fitness pal to see how I panned out.. And included my activities from being a gardener. It basically told me I was in starvation mode.

So I ate more fat... I am actually trying to put on a couple lbs only... But eating the extra fat I have lost 3 more lb's...

Eating and exercising on fitness pal can work out to lose weight. Increasing fat certainly does lose more weight if you aren't eating enough...

Not sure if it's psychological or not but since I have been eating more fat I feel thinner. My size 8 cropped trousers that I bought last week were annoying me today as they were too loose. Still need to up my water intake though.

I am only 4'11" though :) unfortunately the weight is coming off in all the wrong places, I have very thin legs and hips but it won't shift off my stomach. Before I started putting on weight I was under 8 stone so that is my aim.

I might have got thinner but my weight hasn't gone down. I am now off the plateau and my weight has gone up:( back to the drawing board I think and try and work out what I am doing wrong.

In days when I used to suffer from blocked bowel due to slow colonic transit I could actually GAIN 5lb..

You need to eat foods and enough of them to keep your stomach working and to avoid constipation..

Not saying you have this, but I got to understand my blood levels and lack of stomach moving along to realise why I could actually gain weight...and 5lb gain is a big blockage!!!
Not saying yours is anything like mine, but sometimes you have to look at the whole of your body's functions....

sorry for the delay in replying, it has been a busy week. I am not constipated but could probably do with upping my fibre. I am having linseed/flax with my yoghurt in the morning but need to look at other foods. It is definitely my stomach where the fat won't shift.

My weight has stayed the same again this week but I feel better than I have done so not going to focus too much on the weight and tone up. My bmi is in the normal range.
