Thank you. I guess things will settle once we are settled!Moving house is one of the top few causes of stress, and moving country must be equally stressful. With all that disruption and uncertainty hanging over you, your stress levels will be high and this will have a big impact on your blood sugar levels.
Taking time out for yourself, deep breaths, gentle walks, and restful sleep will all help.
Hi, and thank you - much harder than I thought . . .Hi. Hope all goes well with the move, its not easy.
I am new to all this, but would perhaps ask how much exercise you currently do?
For some it raises bgl, but for some it drops it.
And are you sleeping ok?
But my normal eating pattern has been LCHF for several months now and it has become second nature. My stomach has to be obeyed when it becomes demanding!!I'd suggest trying to make sure that you stick to your normal eating pattern. It sounds counter-intuitive but I find that skipping meals drives my blood sugar up. It's so easy to neglect your stomach when you are busy!
Great idea - I like your thinking. Perhaps a massage too if I can find somewhere! How about some retail therapy for your new home when it is ready? That would lift my spirits (although the depleted bank balance might not help!)
Hi Jo - yes, coincidence indeed! You are right in that my post code in France (Midi-Pyrenées) 81170, is my user name. We lived in the Tarn, about an hour north of Toulouse. So much has changed in UK after 11 years but we'll adapt! Might try yoga or pilates but walking in the countryside helps.Coincidence here Steph. I know someone called Steph who lived for a spell in the same town as us in France, is moving back here and recently was moving house. The French post code we shared was 21170 (Burgundy) , which is pretty close to your user name. And yes, stress can play havoc with all sorts of things. Yoga perhaps?
