Struggling with this forum

Hello @2019rico and welcome :)

What are you struggling with ? I might be able to help.

Keep going, you've already learned how to post a stand alone thread. The rest of it will come soon enough.
And welcome to the forum.

Computers arnt my forte may be to old for this
They may not be your forte, but don't you think it's got more to do with lack of interest than with age? That's ok, in my opinion. I'm from Denmark, where everybody has to know about computers, even the old, which you're not. Here you get divorced, sign your kid up for school, report moving, do your tax returns etc. etc. online. In Denmark you're lost if you can't do these things, and I dread becoming old and feeble minded.
Anyway, welcome :) If we can help you do let us know.

Hi and welcome. If your age on your profile is correct you are a mere spring chicken.

You are doing really well - 4 posts already! And you have successfully filled in your profile settings. When I was first learning how to use the internet I just told myself that whichever button I pressed would not cause the computer to explode, so I just experimented and eventually found the way. Ask as many questions as you like because someone will always help you on this forum.

Bulkbiker

Those ranges are far too high so back to basics .... complete diet breakdown .... what is it?

hello and welcome,
yes computers can be intimidating if y0u are not used to them, but like everything else, it gets easier with practice.
Get your kids to set you up a shortcut to this site. Spend some time time reading and looking around, just to get used to it.
Good luck, will be watching out for you.

Were you intentionally losing weight? or did it drop off without you really trying?

Mine took a good month to come down from 22.5 at diagnosis so hang in there. Can you let us know your diet. "No sugar" isn't really good enough. You need to slash the carbs as well. @daisy1 has an excellent introductory screed that she should put up after being tagged.

Best of luck to you,
Glenn

On a low carb diet it is necessary to increase salt, not go low salt (unless you have some other medical condition).

What did you eat and drink yesterday?

Which diabetes medication are you taking?

Welcome!.

Med side effects can be a real pain. Thankfully there are a few alternatives out there which your doctor can put you on. Sometimes they just take a week or two to settle down and, in other cases, you get that feeling that a particular tablet is not the one for you. Been there and got several t-shirts!.

Good Luck.

Good that your daughter has taken charge and has you on low carb so well done to her and your nurse. Low carb is mostly what the members do here so you are on track with that. A little salt is not bad if you do not have any other medical problems

Thanks for your words of encouragement
Since stopping taking forxiga side effects have receded dramatically
Actually have had a care free day no bouts off sickness dizziness passing blood
Blood sugar 10.4 this morning and 13.2 just now
All in all a good day
