Struggling

Hey, I completely understand! I can't imagine what it would be like to have young children while controlling and maintaining diabetes however, I do find that sticking to a low carb diet does majorly assist in my control. I know that many type 2's swear by it and I think it's super healthy for us too. Obviously, you have to be careful of lows but if you can, try eating less carbs (aim for about 20-50g a day). Of course there are still other contributing factors that can affect blood sugar but give it a go. :)

Welcome @sarahlou12 :)

Can you tell us a little more about your control problems? What are your blood sugars over an average day? What insulins do you take?

Do you carb count and adjust your mealtime insulin to suit the carbs you eat?

@sarahlou12 Your profile says you're on tablets - is that correct? Can you just confirm you have Type 1 rather than Type 2?
