Sugar and Fats

Looks like something we can all agree on at last.

I've been LCHF for over two years. BS down to 5.3.
DSN open to listening about different diets to NHS. Conceded that 'natural' fats may not be better than trans fats. Diabetic review sheet still recommends 'low carb (should say starch not carb), low sugar, low fat' so the revolution isn't likely to catch on with the NHS any time soon .

I've certainly noticed that for the short time I've been diagnosed as a t2 diabetic and changed improved my diet, first by cutting out all sugary and starchy food, (sugar, sweets, cakes, bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, etc) and then moving onto a low carb diet, I have felt much more alive, lost weight, and look much better for it, and virtually stopped having any migraines at all.
