when I drink water sometimes it tastes very sweet does anyone else have this ?
 
How are your blood sugars, do you test?

A "sweet taste" in your saliva can be attributed to high BG. Also as you'll see in the below thread, a couple of forum members reported a "sweet taste" in the saliva from using Metformin. I can see from your profile that you also take Metformin:
