A few points on Sugarbeat - I wrote about it about 14 months ago:
http://www.diabettech.com/cgm/nemaura-sugarbeat-competition-in-the-cgm-world-at-last/ when they were sampling every 20 minutes.
1. The MARD when used as a CGM with readings every 5 mins was awful - around 14%, so a long way from the competition, and it had only 75% of its readings in zone A of the Clarke Error grid, which is also poor, and means it is very unreliable for dosing from.
2. It's very well hidden, but you change the patch everyday and every patch needs to be calibrated with a blood test.
We've not seen any updates on performance since these numbers were published in April 2016.
Based on the data, it feels as though they are really aiming at T2s (I know a number that don't participate on line that use the Libre) and those using it for lifestyle purposes.
There has been no news of pricing but they need to price at most at £50 for 14 days use to compete with Libre. Unless they have massively improved their accuracy and a variance, there is no way I would look at one of these as an option.
