A week of sunny days and the water companies will be screaming about a hosepipe ban:rolleyes:

Happiness is widespread....Wales beat France last evening, Sunshine and clouds in Gower, what more can one ask for? I'm off to check on my caravan, clamber over the ever changing sand dunes and potter around on the beach with the dog. She'll probably go for a swim, don't think I will, lol.
Have a good day everyone :)

It was a beautiful day in the smug southeast today :). I took my youngest for a long walk on Camber Sands and we collected seashells and splashed in shallow pools.

I love your posts and avatar Beachbag! I spent 4 very happy years at Swansea Uni living in the Mumbles many years ago and have very fond memories of the beautiful beaches. Especially 3 Cliff's Bay - breathtakingly. Your posts take me back to such a happy time :-) Thank you!

:):). Thank YOU smidge! Small world eh! Swansea Uni is in a great location isn't it, glad you enjoyed your time here:) I consider myself extremely lucky to live in such a wonderful area. For a short while I lived a few minutes away from 3 Cliffs... The cliff top was my morning walk, followed by coffee in the little cafe at Southgate:) I now spend most of my time on the North Gower coast, next to Rhossili. No doubt you've visited there too ;)
Take care and if you ever come back, let me know.

This is a lovely cheerful post, I am glad that the storms seem to have blown themselves out. Soon be Spring for you folks, Autumn and Winter for us but any day with sunshine and fun in it is a day worth having. Mind you, I have had some wonderful cold rainy days too

Looks good.
I've just bought a second hand dry suit, I need somewhere to jump into and test it out!

A dry suit is what lots of people wear down here in the winter. However, today I watched a guy in shorts run down the beach and throw himself into the sea....immediately leap up and run back out, so I said to him "one of those had to do it moments?" Teeth chattering and bright red with cold he replied " should have bloody ignored it, I don't like pain!" :).
