Okay, so those of you who know me, i entered this uk page by mistake and made an account on here, but i love reading all your threads and whatnot because the blood glucose readings are completely different than from the american way, i still don't understand them but i'm learning! 4 months ago my A1C was in 10.3 (american reading) and this Tuesday i went to my endocro and my A1C lowered to 8.5 (american reading) I was so happy! i mean i have to go back in January to check it again and my goal is to have it below 7.5 (american reading) or below! I haven't had it this low since grade 7. and i'm currently in grade 12. I also recently went to Cuba for a whole week and i walked a lot to i believe that contributed for my A1C lowering because my blood sugar levels were mostly low the whole time.
I also have some questions ( i would prefer if a female would respond)
my boyfriend and i want to have intercourse but i don't know if i keep my insulin pump on or off? not for the sake of my boyfriend but i'm wondering because i'm afraid it'll come off or something like that.
thank you
