hi all ive just been prescrbed with new tabs called sitgliptin has anyone herd of these and are they ok and has anyone used these

Sitagliptin.
As with any prescription drug there are possible side effects:
Gastro-intestinal disturbances; peripheral oedema; upper respiratory tract infection, nasopharyngitis; pain; osteoarthritis; less commonly anorexia, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, hypoglycaemia, osteoarthritis.

Please note - they are not mandatory !!

Yes I was prescribed them for a spell but they made me feel really sick. Also had bad hypos

Give them a go as with all things what doesn't suit some of us, suits others
