Taking diabetes tablets in the afternoon?

I'm soon to have a discussion with the GP but want to get other peoples views first.

From using the Libre Senor I've realized that my blood sugar seems to be the highest after my afternoon meal (probably because it contains the most carbs). Although I'm slowly trying to reduce my carb intake overall (LCHF). In my view it would therefore be logical to either take the Glicazide or Janumet at this time rather than the evening. My husband takes Jardiance at afternoon meal and seems to work well for him. What are peoples view on this?

Current Medication:
Morning:
1 x Glicazide 80mg
1 x Invokana 300mg

Evening:
1 x Glicazide 80mg
1 x Janumet (50 mg sitagliptin / 1,000 mg metmorfin)

Hi @super_mum1001
Much as we’d love to help you, we are unable to advise on drug dosages or schedules. I hope you can find a plan to suit you better after discussion with your GP.

Edit for typo

As we can't advise you, you do need to speak to your GP.

I take my Januvia (Sitagliptin) in the morning, I was advised by my specialist endocrinologist to do so, however the length of time you are taking the Gliptin, it doesn't matter what time you take it, as it builds up, if you forget or take the drug for whatever reason later than normal. As long as you take the a dose every day.
The glicizide will have the same build up.
And I would read the notes with your drugs.

If you are low carb, you may have to watch for hypo like symptoms with the Glicizide.

And if I had the meds you are taking, I would dump the HCLF, and go LCHF.
I would also read the success stories on the forum.
