Hope you find it useful .
Most important - is that you find the right tattooist .
Go along and chat to them "all" before make the final choice .
Explain about being diabetic etc .
The right one - will take all things into consideration .
Your choice of design , time of day most suited with your insulin
regime best for you .
Ask you to bring along your meter test kit and hypo kit .
Test pre-tattoo and stop for a break , allow you to test and
take a breather .
Look for a 'clean' tattoo salon and environment .
Singular pre-sterile packs used individually .
Good aftercare advice and good pre-tattoo preparation is essential .
My own tattoo healed well in a week of time .
Mine offered me a free after tattoo check up and offered
any touch up work free of extra cost too .
Thankfully it wasn't needed .
What type of design are you thinking off with your late wife
in mind ?
Lovely idea if you don't mind me saying
