They're self dissolving stitches (or whatever they are called in English), so no need to revisit the vet if all looks well. And not willing to spend 40 euro's for a piece of tegaderm if all looks well either!Take him to the vet! the vet might take it off when the stitches are ready to come out.
That's what I thought when desperately applying it, as he was trying to lick and gnaw his privates at every opportunity. But he's just miraculously ignored the tegaderm and his privates!Hell probably be a typical boy and start licking his privates once theyre no longer sore - the Tegaderm wont stand a chance !!

I'm afraid that's not meant to be ingested (which will happen), so if something like fat or oil works I'd prefer that.Try Googling ‘plaster remover’ it comes as a spray, it’s available from Amazon here in the UK. I expect there’s something similar in the Netherlands.
