Test

Ill be having chicken with salad for my tea later ) thanks again for your help,its very much appreciated,it really is. I need to take this more seriously. Going to work will be the biggest change for me..like what to put in my lunch box that will not make me hypo or hungry and ill ) i will work it out.
 
@Darts_lad, You had a good fasting but it is likely that you sugars rose before you started eating. This is quite a normal morning thing for most people and more extreme with diabetics. It is sometime called the dawn effect when you liver gives you a sugar boost to start the day.

If you want to test the effect of your breakfast you need to test just before you eat then two hours after to get regular patterns.

All the major brands do a low sugar version that you may get away with in small quantities.

I find the Tesco low sugar ketchup reasonably decent and I can get away with a spoonful.

I can get away with a spoonful of normal HP brown sauce when I have a fry/grill up. Just enough to dip my sausage in. :)
