I have not tried that particular model of meter, but have the same stabber which is a good one.

If you pay for your own test strips chuck it in the bottom of a drawer and buy something with much lower running costs ie. the SD CodeFree

It's a good meter but the cartridges are sooooo expensive. I bought it before doing any research However also agree that the finger pricker is very good. I now use that with a different meter that uses much cheaper test strips.
