Ive tried to reply without success - think I need a tutorial for this forum lol. I get a message when I try to reply suggesting ive put "inappropriate content" I think it was. Cant think what that would be but just to say I really appreciated your replies which were very helpful. Hopefully I'll get used to the forum which appears excellent, so glad I found it. All best.
ps, not even sure that creating a thread is the way to go so apologies if wrong.
 
Hello @CollaredDove As a new member you will have restrictions on your account until you've posted at least 5 times (I think !), it's to try and deter spammers, if you try again after your next post you should be ok, if not let me know
 

If you are trying to reply to someone then click the "reply" box below their text (as I have done with yours) which then copies their post into your reply..

Alternatively if you type the user name preceded by the @ sign then they will also receive a notification of your response.

so much of what we give, we think makes no odds, yet
i'm sure we'd be amazed at how much difference each of us makes to someone
on here.
